The Urban Barbers is owned and run by Mr. Darren Ennis. Darren decided to open his own baber shop after many years experience in numerous men's hairdressing establishments throughout the country.Darren started unisex hairdressing in Killiney, Co. Dublin back in 1987 aged just 16. After qualifying he felt more drawn to the barbering side of hairdressing, specialising in different haircutting technics and open razor shaving (hot towel shaving). Darren also spent three years mastering the European method of men's haircutting and styling in Italy. He has tutored hot towel shaving courses in a number of workshops around the midlands and east coast of Ireland.

The art of barbering has diversified greatly in Ireland thanks to the influence of so many foreign barbering styles since 1995. These days, it is not just the case of a "short back and sides". Men want more nowadays, and Darren and his team will consistently deliver quality tailored to our clients differing needs.
